Dr Bungus was given a chance to harvest parts from the uloth, and he successfully extracted 3 vials of its mucus, a large bag of its teeth, and a lobe of its massive brain. We then resumed with the airship combat, where we left off last time. The two ships traded blows, with _Skyborn_ landing a couple cannonshots (with Uhtred and Balthier at the guns), while the other ship's ballistae missed their marks. As the mercenary ship got closer, the name of the ship became visible: the _Gallowhawk_. Dynamo decided to manoeuvre the _Skyborn_ for a boarding action, and the party left [[Beornwulf]] at the helm as they slid down rope lines to land on the _Gallowhawk_'s deck. There were 7 of [[Haakon's Mercenaries]] on the deck. Despite their superior numbers and firepower, the mercenaries were quickly taken out by the party working together. The group then went belowdecks, where they found three more mercenaries, who promptly surrendered. One of them was Hunstan, the mercenary stowaway from [[2025-12-27|Session 2]]. All three were tied up with rope and hauled to the main deck. On the deck of the _Gallowhawk_, Dynamo praised her companions for their skill and teamwork, and offered them official positions as officers of her ship, the _Skyborn_: * Uhtred: First Lieutenant * Balthier: Boatswain * Anonis: Master-at-Arms * Dr Bungus: Chirurgeon ("When it comes to science, I do it") The party then turned to their captives, to decide their fate and determine how to proceed.
