# Session Overview
The party levelled up, rolling their new HP and choosing their new abilities. Then the group debated what to do and where to go. Midway through this process they heard a noise from below-decks. They found two mercenaries hiding down there. Uhtred managed to convince one (named Hunstan) to stand down while the party killed the other one. Then they decided to continue on to [[Prosperity]] so that they could collect the reward for the [[Rúnbrandr|Rune-Sword]], which [[Maerwynn]] assured them the university would pay. However, they were cautioned that [[Lord Haakon]] could not be allowed to learn of the sword or what it signified. During the journey, Anonis was able to examine the items looted from the temple and was able to determine that all five items found in the chests were artefacts, and that the boots were sent by Ernon, the circlet by Taron, and the salt block by Heduron.
As they approached Prosperity, they were recognised as part of the expedition, and escorted to the docks and thence to Haakon's palace. He asked them for their report of the expedition and seemed to believe their version of events after a couple Deception checks from Uhtred. Haakon also recognised Uhtred from pre-Riving [[Rejken]] and this also seemed to increase his esteem of the group. He paid them for their part of the expedition, a sum of gold that would be used to provision the ship for the foreseeable future. After they were dismissed from his presence, they returned to the _Skyborn_ and continued to discuss what to do. They decided to let Maerwynn take the sword back to her laboratory at the university, escorted by Beornwulf, for further examination. The university rewarded them 1500 gold crowns for the sword, and Maerwynn suggested they stay for a day so she can give them some preliminary results. The party retired to the ship and plotted what to do with their gold. Also that mercenary stowaway they spared ditched them.
