They are scribed by priests while in a state of intense meditation and written in leaden ink, and then hallowed for years upon a basalt altar. A person who wishes to use the Orison must first **sign their name** at the bottom of the parchment, at which point the Orison belongs to them alone. At any point, a character who has signed an Orison may **tear the paper in half as a Reaction** in response to an effect that causes them to make an Intelligence or Wisdom saving throw. As they do so, their mind becomes instantly aligned in accordance with the meditative practices of the priests for a brief moment, and they **automatically succeed against the triggering Intelligence or Wisdom saving throw**. A character may take this Reaction after rolling but before knowing the outcome of the roll. The Orison may also be torn as a Bonus Action, in which case it applies to the next applicable saving throw that character would make within the next minute.
