It is a polished lens of clear crystal set in a metal frame, with leather straps attached so it can be worn around the head and used as a monocle. _Flawless Sight._ While looking through the lens, you can't have Disadvantage on Intelligence or Wisdom checks. Illusions and disguises, whether empyrean or mundane, appear distorted and translucent to you, allowing you to perceive them as such. When a creature you can see tells a lie, you are aware of it. _Silence._ While the lens is on your person, as an action, you may suppress all sound within a 30-foot [[Shapes#Emanation|Emanation]] centred on yourself. For the next 10 minutes, no sound may be created within or pass through the area. Any creature or object entirely inside the Emanation has Immunity to Thunder damage, and creatures are [[Conditions#Deafened|Deafened]] while entirely inside it. This effect ends early if you take damage from any source.
