Its construction took 6 years (began 3039 VL, in the 18th year after The Riving) and was sponsored entirely by Lord Haakon, who rules over the city as lord, with complete authority. He has a large army of soldiers and warships to enforce his rule, as well as the only supply of gunpowder. He has the only real unified military force in the world, with Prosperity as his well-defended stronghold. Prosperity is very modern and high-tech, made of lots of glass and metal (unusual for cities), and quite luxurious and wealthy. Has a large university which specialises in engineering.
