It is a storage and cataloguing facility for artefacts and records. The predecessors of the Order, the word-keepers or _ordvardar_, had built a hall in [[Soranger]] to meet and store records. When Kaj issued his Proclamation of Order, the word-keepers' hall was turned into the temple. Given Soranger's historical importance as mankind's first city in Adenland, the temple location was held in high esteem and became the unofficial headquarters of the Order, with the Council of Wisdom residing at the temple for most of Skadyrik's history. During [[The Riving]], the most important artefacts were evacuated from the temple along with the senior priests and Incorruptibles. However, countless items had to be left behind. Interestingly, the priests were instructed to leave behind one of their most revered artefacts, the [[Rúnbrandr]]. The functions of the Ordinate are now performed by [[the monastery]] at [[Gudesberg]]. On the [[2025-12-14|24th day of Moon of Threefold Blessing, 3057 VL]], an expedition sponsored by [[Lord Haakon]] and [[Prosperity University]] arrived at Soranger to search for artefacts.
