The **cathedral** of Vinsklar is one of the major priestly institutions. It serves as an interface between the priests and the public, to raise funds and awareness.

# General
The cathedral is located in Vinsklar's Civic Quarter. It is an important facility of [[The Order of Priests|the priests]], being one of the five institutions ordained by Kaj Ottarsson. The cathedral's purpose is to be a public interface between the priests and the public, so that the latter may tithe and donate to the former. Thus the cathedral is always a large structure, filled with ceremonial artwork and hallowed artefacts, located in a prosperous city. It is only reasonable that the cathedral be currently located in [[Vinsklar]].
The cathedral is headed by a **High Thane** or **Hofthane**, and divided into several administrative offices. Each office is headed by a Thane.
* The **Chancery of Benefaction** focuses on donations, tithes, and offerings. It both receives them passively from the faithful and actively solicits them from generous patrons. It also processes and records these donations.
* The **Office of Presentation** focuses on the artwork, artefacts, and documents set out for public display, in order to provoke interest in the priesthood.
* The **Custody of the Archives** is fairly self-explanatory; they deal with the cathedral's archives. As the cathedral is the second-most important priestly facility since The Riving, the Custody also maintains a copy of the priestly records from the Gudesberg monastery, for redundancy.
* The **Office for Harmonisation of Public Interests** focuses on liaising with the [[Vinsklar Raed]] and other elements of civic outreach and discussion with local communities. This is also known by a shorter name, the **Office of Accord**.
* The **Stewardship for Internal Provision** focuses on serving priests visiting the cathedral from Gudesberg or elsewhere, as well as favoured guests and allies.
* The **Custody of the Edifices** focuses on managing the property and facilities of the cathedral.
* The **Vigilant Post of the Incorruptibles** is the headquarters of the cathedral's Incorruptibles.
