Canvas from airship sails and balloons is stretched over arching ribs, creating a beige "roof" through which the light of the Sunsphere produces even and steady illumination. "Under the sails", as the saying goes, the streets are lined with individual stalls, shops, and stores. There is no central organisation, layout, or map; the only barrier to entry is to claim a spot. One may purchase almost anything here: * mountain herbs * reclaimed pre-Riving treasures * fungus liquor * salvaged engine parts * fabrics * funerary carvings * hunting falcons * antique books * preserved fruits Prices fluctuate wildly according to rumour, weather, incoming shipments, and panic. The Arcade is famous for enticing provincial visitors to spend more than is wise on the exotic offerings to be had.
