Agnar Holm is one such building, built by Raedman [[Agnar]] to house workers for his nearby manufactorium. This six-storey wooden structure houses almost two dozen labourers in cramped conditions. The building rises vertically in stacked timber galleries connected by narrow staircases and exterior walkways slick with condensation and soot. Boiler pipes provide inconsistent heat. Some rooms are unbearably hot while others freeze. Water drips constantly from upper levels. The smell of coal smoke never leaves the walls. Despite the squalor, the tenements possess a strong communal culture.
